A physician by profession, Gonzalo Pérez-Blas graduated with highest distinction from the University of Chile. From the beginning of his career, he demonstrated a natural inclination toward innovation, management, business, and particularly the real estate sector.

During the 1970s, he specialized in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound in Spain, acquiring advanced training that was pioneering for its time. As a result of this experience, he introduced the first German state-of-the-art ultrasound machine to Chile, making a significant contribution to the advancement of medical diagnostics in the country and becoming a recognized reference in gynecological and obstetric ultrasound during a key period in the adoption of this technology.

At the same time, he shared his knowledge with future generations of physicians by serving as a professor at his alma mater, the University of Chile.

Approaching the age of 40, and motivated by his ongoing interest in business, he pursued formal education in finance by completing a Diploma in Finance at the Adolfo Ibáñez University. This enabled him to strengthen his management capabilities and progressively transition into the real estate sector.

For several years, he successfully combined medicine with real estate development. However, after achieving his first successes in residential development projects, he decided to leave medical practice entirely and dedicate himself full-time to real estate development.

Mr. Gonzalo Pérez-Blas, founder of PBG Companies, has built an outstanding career over several decades in real estate and investment activities in Chile.

With strategic vision, financial discipline, and a long-term approach, he laid the foundations for what is today a consolidated group of companies dedicated primarily to the investment, management, and development of real estate assets.
